Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to an inclusive website for every traveler

We aim to align this website with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — we review and improve the site as it grows.

How we build for accessibility

  • Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) for screen reader navigation.
  • Keyboard-accessible controls with visible focus states throughout.
  • Alternative text on content images and ARIA labels on icon-only buttons.
  • Responsive layouts and resizable text that work from small phones to large screens.
  • Foreground and background colors chosen for readable contrast.

Known limitations

  • The interactive map uses a third-party map widget; some map interactions may be easier with a mouse than with a keyboard.
  • Some images from external content feeds may not yet have full alternative text.
  • Automated testing does not cover every assistive technology — we rely on user feedback to catch real-world issues.
