Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Who we are

This website is operated by the Vietnam Tourism Organization to provide travel information about Vietnam. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to the operators of this site.

Information we collect

We do not require user accounts, do not process payments and do not run advertising trackers or analytics. We only store the following on your device:

• Your language preference, saved as a cookie so the site opens in EN or VI.
• Your saved trip plan, kept in your browser's local storage.
• No names, email addresses or payment details are collected by this site.

How we use your information

Your language preference is used to show the site in the language you chose. Your trip plan is used to restore your saved destinations when you return and to fetch their names and details from our content service when you open the trip planner. Trip plan contents are not used for marketing.

Third-party services

To display content we rely on these providers:

• Sanity — hosts our content and images.
• OpenStreetMap — provides the map tiles on the destinations map.
• Google Fonts — serves the Inter typeface.

Your rights and contact

You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, which removes your saved preferences and trip plan. For questions about this policy, contact us through the Contact page. We may update this policy; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

Acceptance of these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Accuracy of information

Travel information — including visa rules, entry requirements, opening hours and transport schedules — changes frequently. We work to keep content accurate, but it is provided for general guidance only. Always verify visa and entry requirements with official government sources before you travel, and confirm details directly with service providers.

External links

The site links to external websites that we do not operate. Those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content.

Intellectual property and changes

Content on this site (text, design, images) belongs to us or our licensors and may not be used commercially without permission. We may modify or withdraw parts of the site or these terms at any time; changes take effect when posted.
